The Annual ANZAAS/YSA Dinner will feature a talk from Prof. Raymond Volkas (a Melbourne University Academic) about the most topical sub-atomic particle this year - the Higgs Boson. Professor Volkas is an Academic at Melbourne University in the Physics department, in the field of theoretical particle physics with interests in areas such as neutrinos, branes and extra dimensions, particle cosmology, and the early universe.
The night will consist of a meal followed by the talk and will allow for science enthusiasts of all ages to talk and interact with each other.
